Last night Greg & I were invited to Taylorsville City's annual Awards Banquet where Greg was given the "Outstanding Charitable Service Organization" award on behalf of Heart2Home. It was really neat. They had the documentary "Uphill Both Ways" (that shows the Grove's family makeover in March of 2008) playing in the background during dinner and showed some clips of the demolition and the reveal. The Groves family was able to come with us and thank Taylorsville City for their help on their home. It was a good night.

When we were in St. George, all the kids wanted to do was swim. So we did....lots. And finally got Ethan over his fear of swimming. He did so good. We were so proud of him.

And then there's Ashton. She is a born swimmer. I swear she's part fish. She's amazing and is very fast and very daring.

Ty thought the water was too cold however and played on the grass and threw rocks. Love warm weather~

Who knew my kids were professional rock climbers?

Greg has another home make over this next weekend. He's
been really busy lately and needed some family time. We
decided to take our little munchkins to St. George over the
weekend and we were so surprised to find that we have little
rock climbers in our family. They had so much fun!

It was a much needed family vacation. The kids loved the
sun. Ty was lovin' grass. Although, he was very cautious
about it at first.
I want to go back already!

My kids are freakin' hilarious.

So, Saturday was my mom's 46th Birthday (sorry Mom but you are). I started taping this video for my Mom. Ashton and Ethan did great.....and then.... they started the next song. I was laughing so hard. Ethan's face was hilarious! Anyways, I think my kids are freakin' hilarious!

MOM! TYSON HAS CHICKEN POX AGAIN!

So, today as I was posting on my blog, my 4 year old, Ethan & my 9 month 0ld, Tyson were playing. I must have been on a long time because this is how I found them after......................

When I asked Ethan why he had colored all over himself and his brother he said, "Mom, I didn't. Tyson has the chicken pox and he gave it to me." Oh Bother! I do hope it's not permanent

Heart2Home Black Tie Dinner

We had a blast last night at Heart2Home's 2nd annual black tie dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was fun getting all dressed up, having a delicious dinner, and amazing entertainment. Who doesn't love Peter Breinholt? And it was all to raise money for the foundation that Greg has put countless hours into. I go to these things and hear about all these families that need help and it really humbles me and makes me realize how very lucky I am that my family is healthy and how very fortunate we are to live the life that we do. Hopefully we raised enough money to keep this awesom foundation going. Here's some fun pics of the night.

Should I be Jealous?

My girls, they are awesome & always support me and Greg.
What would I do without them?

Listening to Peter Breinholt.

Our ward had a "Blast to the Past" dinner/dance. We had to pick a decade and dress up accordingly. It was a lot of fun. We picked the 70's obviously. We had a great night out together. Good food, good company, good times! Love ya Greg you shaggy man you!
