Surprise!

So, a couple hours after my last blog...my water broke lol! Looks like our sweet little baby was as anxious to meet us as we were! Here's our story...
Greg and I were laying in bed at 11:30 watching the Office when I felt and heard a little pop. I thought maybe my water had broken but I couldn't tell. I didn't have a gush of fluid like they do on tv and I haven't had my water break for 10 years. I was induced with my boys. So, I just went to sleep. Around midnight I got up to use the restroom and noticed something was different. So I called my Mom and she said my water probably broke and to call her if I start to have contractions. Not even 5 minutes later I started to have contractions. I woke Greg up and called my Mom and had her come down and bring my sister Danika to watch the boys. We called the hospital and they said to come when the contractions were 4 to 5 minutes apart and lasting 60 seconds each. They came fast and as soon as my Mom pulled up to the house, we headed to the hospital.

Post epidural can u tell? I was only dilated to a 4 and stayed there until about 4am when my dr said to up my pitocin because this baby needed to come before 10am when He had to leave. So, they did..

And we all bundled up and tried to get some sleep. Here's Ashy and Her daddy snuggled on the pull out bed. Mom was on the couch.

I was in my bed trying to sleep.

At 6am the nurses shifts end and I got a new nurse. She was casually checking my charts, brought Ashy some juice, took my blood pressure then decided she should probably check me. She barely lifted up my blanket when she said, "Don't laugh, don't sneeze, don't breathe. Your baby is right there. I can see a head full of hair. It went crazy from there. She literally called my doctor in front of me and told him to get down there. My Mom hurried and called my sister, Tina and told her to bring the boys. I had 4 nurses run in and it was chaos. At 6:51 am our sweet baby was born...

It's a GIRL!!!! Our sweet Emery Grace Adamson was finally here! I still can't believe it! She weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long. She has so much dark hair! She is absolutely beautiful!

Big sister Ashton has finally gotten what she has always wanted...a sister!

Dr Bean with the girls

A very proud papa

I am obviously so exhausted but so happy to have my 2 girls

Big brother!

Ethan has always been my protector. Whenever I'm sick or down, He's the one who is always so worried about me and tries to help. Here, He was worried and climbed into my bed and just wanted to lay on my legs and asked me to tickle his hair. He's such a sweet little boy!

After being up all night, Greg and I were so tired. So we cuddled up with little Em and took a nap in my hospital bed. The nurse woke me up to take my vitals and I found Greg and Em like this... I had to snap a pic. They were so sweet!

Ethan has become the most amazing little helper. He absolutely loves his sister. He is so patient and calm with her and always seems to get her to sleep.

Ashton is in love with her sister. She says she is Emery's biggest fan. I do worry about her though. She's always been the "princess." She's said some things that make me worry that she's starting to feel a little insecure with another princess in the house. Hope she knows she could never be replaced and that she will always be my little princess.

Here's Ty doing, "This little piggy..." Ty has really stepped up. I call him the binkie nazi. He always knows where Em's binkie is and is constantly washing it and making sure she has it if she needs it.

My princesses

2 days old.

Ethan loves holding Emery on his chest and puts her to sleep. However, I'm not sure who put who to sleep here. So swee

Ty and Emery's morning snuggle.

I'm just so happy she's here! Safe and sound and healthy. We love her so very much. She is such a good baby. She's so calm and mellow. She does have a fiercely high pitched scream when she's mad, but we just laugh when we hear it. The only one who can replicate that sound is Ethan and we just think it's hilarious. I can't wait to see who this little lady is going to become. I hope she will always know how very loved she is. We love you Emery!

Well, 6 more days until this baby is scheduled to be born! This pregnancy has seemed so long. We have wanted and prayed for this baby for a very long time. We had our little bump in the road when we lost our baby in October 2010. And now we will be getting our 2nd chance very soon to have another very special spirit join our family. I'm so ready to see this baby, I can hardly stand it!! The kids are so excited for me to have this baby. They have been so cute throughout this whole pregnancy and have said some funny things. I have to share before I forget them:

Ethan: "Mommy, does it hurt when the baby farts in your belly?"

Ashton: "Mom, is your belly button going to stay like that? It's so weird!"

Tyson: "Mommy, You're chubby like a bulldog!"

Tyson walked in on me getting dressed. When He saw my enormous belly last week He said very loudly, "OH MY GOSH! YOUR BELLY IS CWACKING!!!" (how he explains my stretch marks)

The baby was kicking the other day and Ty felt it and said, "Mama! The baby is knocking! He wants to come out!!!"

I wish I could remember all the funny things that happened. There have been lots!

Tumbling Ty Ty

February 13th Greg and I went to dinner for some friends for an early Valentine's day date. Ashy was babysitting and called to tell us that Ty had climbed into a laundry basket and decided to ride it down the stairs and that there was alot of blood. We rushed home and had a neighbor run over while we were in route. The blood was pretty much managed and cleaned up when we walked in but poor Ty Ty had a goose egg easily the size of a golf ball. We were so scared He had a concussion. Luckily, we have 2 awesome neighbors who are nurses who ran over and took a look at him. Greg and our neighbor gave Ty a blessing and we decided to just watch him closely and keep him awake. After 2 hours of watching him we decided he was ok. Thank heavens. We are so grateful it wasn't worse than it was.

Didn't like it when I held the ice pack to his forhead...

only Daddy could do it.

1 week later his gooseegg is only a bruise and the rug rash has fallen off. All that is left is 2 black eyes. Poor little Ty Ty. That's our little dare devil!
