Thanksgiving!

This year was it was my family side's turn to have Turkey Day together. My sister Katrina and her 2 kids came and stayed with us for a couple of days. Tina (that's what I call my sis) and I were in charge of rolls, pumpkin pie and the pumpkin roll. My Mom did EVERYTHING else (I know, she's amazing). Wherever we are for Thangsgivine pumpkin roll must be as well. It's a Nicoll family tradition. I make pumpkin pie which I've never made from scratch before. I was nervous but it was great. Yay me! We went to my Mom's for dinner. It was soooo good! Thanks Mom!!! Then Tina and I decided we would be so cool and brave the crazy Black Friday Shopping. We made our lists, checked them twice and planned on getting up at 3am. Well, 3am came along and I called Tina's cell and she told me she just threw up. Great! Ok! So, I told her to go back to sleep and I went online and shopped at Walmart. I had my heart set on a Cricut machine for me of course. Got a cute black one picked out, and then.....my computer froze up. Needless to say, 40 minutes later after rebooting my computer they were sold out! I had my spoiled little girl crying and screaming fit and then mourned my loss. Tina called me at 5am and said,"You still want to go? I haven't thrown up for a little while." So, we got up and tried to brave Walmart. Hoping that by some miracle there would be a Cricut machine all alone waiting for me....BAH! Yeah right. The lines were crazy! We walked in and just started laughing! What were we thinking? Well, we got some stuff that was leftover. Then it was line time. It was so long so we decided that Tina would sit in line and I would browse for a cricut (still wishing). Well, I hadn't been gone too long before I got a text from Tina saying, "Come back ASAP I'm going to puke!!!" Oh dear! I ran back, she ran to the bathroom barely making it. Poor girl. She sat in the car for the rest of our Walmart experience. It was a memorable Black Friday experience. We had a lot of fun over the weekend. I wish we could live closer. Ashy told Tina, "Why don't you move to our old house and work at Taco Bell or Smiths." We had a good laugh at that. So, we are now waiting Taco Bell's reply. They headed back to Montana sunday to which my kids were devastated! We miss you guys already. We hope to see you again soon! Thanks for the Walmart experience Tinabop! Let's do it again next year minus the puke of course!
Our New Tradition (hint hint mom): Homemade Sushi. I know weird but I don't get sushi unless my mom makes it, otherwise it's icky.

Mom and my little sis Dani making sushi

2 cute ladies!

Tina devouring sushi! When we were in High school, we worked together at a Movie Theatre and everyone thought we were twins. What do you think? I am actually 14 months older. And yes, that counts as older. I EARNED those months. Hee hee! By the way, we have a joke about our hair styles. I have Utah Mom hair and she has Porn Star hair. Her hair is out of this world!
Mom's 3 girls! Do we look alike?
Ethan & Jayden having a pizza party while the girls have sushi!
Happy 8th Birthday Raven! This is Ashton's "Twin" Love you sweet girl!
Turkey time!
My Princess Peota. I can't remember where she got that nickname but it's been hers since she was a baby. She's so beautiful!
Greg and my sister in law Kapri. Greg looks so serious! What to get first...Mashed potatoes or stuffing?
Ethan, Jayden, and Ty loving the spread!
Crazy silly time!

Ashy with my little bro Jake
My Mom must have spiked our Martinellis because after a little while we all got a little silly!

The buzz has worn off. I hope Mom's ok! This is how she looked after dinner. This was our cue to leave.
Happy Thanksgiving!
